Roger Howard Ensley Mar 30, 1939 — Jul 9, 2026 Arapahoe Roger Howard Ensley, 87, of Arapahoe, passed away peacefully at his home on July 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. It is Sunday morning, and you are just now arriving to church. You are excited to be here after having to miss a couple of Sundays due to a long-awaited vacation. We had a wonderful Easter service this year with over 120 people present. The cross was beautiful standing in its floral beauty at the front of the sanctuary. Creation Care Seafood Celebration Made Possible by Bethany Men and Women Dear Bethany Friends, The Creation Care Retreat Planning Team cannot thank you enough for all you did to make our Seafood Celebration at the Creation Care Retreat an amazing success. The hauling, steaming, shucking and serving of oysters and shrimp was amazing! The CMF trims the shrubbery surrounding the columbarium. This requires heavy equipment. Trees were trimmed, piles of debris moved, shrubbery cut, and general clean up happening behind Bethany on February 21. Our CMF can not only cook, but they can do some heavy landscaping too. A nice crowd for the pancake supper 2026. Men preparing for pancake supper 2026 Bethany's men are joining together to strengthen our CMF and support our church. They have several projects that they are planning on handling this year that may require funding. In order to assist with this, the CMF held a pancake supper fundraiser for Shrove Tuesday, February 17.
