This year’s Church Picnic at Camp Caroline on June 29 was amazing! Of course, we had our new minister, and she did a wonderful message. She also shared her baptism experience as a young girl. There were 56 people there for worship and 10-15 more people joined us for the meal and water activities.

Hot dogs and hamburgers and drinks were provided by the church after the worship service and the congregation brought sides and desserts. It was very nice. The hall was full of packed tables of people fellowshipping.

Camp Caroline had both the waterfront and the pool open for all of us to use. We had teens and babies and 20 something’s enjoying the water as well as all of the rest of us who let’s just say are no longer 20 something. It was great to take a dip and splash around! Especially since the temps were extremely high and the heat index was over 100. We none let that damper our fun. This was one of the best picnics I can remember.

Hope to see everyone there next year too!
