Sunday, October 19, 2025, Bethany celebrated Homecoming. Rev. Amanda Moore provided the morning message. Her thoughtful delivery was wonderful, and we were all blessed. Justin Moore led the Chancel Choir in an upbeat anthem titled Blessed Be the Lord, and Roger Bennett directed the Jericho Ringers in an all time favorite of the group, Morning Has Broken.

We had 105+ people in attendance during worship; the sanctuary crackled with the laughter and greetings resonating throughout the room as old friends and extended family gathered. We were all pleased to have so many children present. Our two lovely nursery attendants were very much appreciated.

After worship, Rev. Amanda blessed the meal to come, and congregational attendees hurried to the kitchen to collect their dishes brought to be shared and put them on the tables under our pavilion. The weather was absolutely perfect for such an event though the breeze kept us all on our toes trying to ensure the table clothes stayed in place.

Many of the young people who have moved away and started families of their own returned to see family and celebrate homecoming together. It is always wonderful to see the generations continuing a tradition.

We also fondly remember those who were here but are no longer. Our love continues.
