Installation of Deacons 2025

Bethany installed three new people to the diaconate on Sunday, May 4, 2025, Christy Beach, Gloria Cowell, and Keith Cowell. These candidates have shown aptitude in leadership and demonstrated faithfulness to this church. They have been willing to use their unique gifts to serve others both in and through this church as well as in the community.  

Now as members of the diaconate, Christy, Gloria, and Keith are being called to prepare communion, serve at the Lord’s table, assist with baptisms, pray for our minister(s) and elders, and greet visitors. More than that, they should be  prepared to assist the church in whatever ways they can and ready to lead the church in that work God has given the church to do. This is an important role, and the congregation is called to honor the position of deacon,  as the deacons are called to treat their position as one of ministry and servitude.  We are grateful that Christy, Gloria, and Keith have agreed to serve Bethany in this way.
